Post Spawn Crappies Pool 8

The crappie fishing has definatly been picking up, many fish starting to move out on deep wood. We were able to pick up about 50 crappies the other day, not all big ones, but did catch some real nice crappies though. Tube baits and any small crappie baits seemed to work, didnt really matter what you threw down.

When you say deep wood, how deep and what depth were the crappies suspended at? If I was to guess, 20fow with the crappies at 8-12feet. Am I close? I might just have to play with them critters myself this weekend:D
