Turkeys are still strutting (6/17/08)!!???

I've never seen this happen this late. In two different areas miles apart I saw toms strutting for some hens. Anyone else seeing them out puffing up? It just seems late to me. Are they working hens that maybe have lost the nest or what?? It got the blood pumping a bit I'll have to admit.:D

That is crazy. I would of liked to see that. Maybe with the weather so messed up, some birds could be confused. Very interesting. Anyone have any other ideas why they are still struting?
