So who is fishing this weekend?

I will be out bass fishing, hoping to get into the smallies. Anyone Else?

My wife and I made it out on sunday. It was a multispecies run. Alot of fun, but man was it windy. I really dislike the wind. Makes for tough boat control. We caught everything accept a bass. Well, one striper I guess. How did you do? Where did you end up? We fished the runs on pool 5. I caught (foul hooked) the largest soft shell turtle in my life. His shell was 16" wide. I thought I had on the biggest cat of my life. We were trolling in the Natural run. We were able to have a fresh fish fry. Well, good luck and cast straight.

We caught some nice fish this weekend, but you are right that wind was terrible. Also, the northerns were biting like crazy. I think we had 10 northerns, 8lbs being the biggest.

I got out Thursday night, Friday, and Sunday night with some friends. We caught some nice fish, but the action wasn't fast and furious for us.

Still great to get out and win Joe's money. First fish tiny bass $1 so the bet becomes must be larger than the dollar, 7" perch for dollar #2, then a 31" northern for dollar #3. Here's some pics.

We only locked into one slimmer. The wifes first actually. It went about 4 lbs. The way she set the hook I thought it was whale. Of course it had to take all of the hooks of the Frenzy in it's mouth.:) The hooks on those things are wicked.

Yes I did loose 3 dollars to the "Master Baiter", but hell hath no fury like a fisherman's scorn. I will get my cash back buddy! LOL. Revege is a dish best served cold in your boat! LOL ;)
