On Tuesday I had a bit of time so I thought I would take my daughter who is 6 out for a bit. I had every thing ready to go when she got back from school and in the truck we went for some good ole dad daughter time.
I was hoping to get some slop bass action or some sand points a try. We hit pool 6 and as soon as the boat stopped I grabbed my rod and the first clap of thunder hit.
"Dad we should probably go" was her response, I had to agree.
We get back to the truck just in time for the radio to have all the blaring of a thunderstorm warnings all over it.
Disappointed but safe is better than not. Particularly when the little one is in the boat.
Question,
Now that the water will rise a bit and the temps cool how long do you feel it may be before the fish get the feed bag on?
-My personal opinion is that it will not be long at all. The cooler temps will be a welcome sign of fall and if the fish heed this the schooling will begin in earnest shortly, and the action will get HOT!
Let me know what you find.
Thanks
