Technique: Jigging and lead line trollling

Well the wife said get the heck out of the house, so I snuck down to Pool 5. I hit up some of my secret haunts and had fair luck, but ended up with the crowd at Alma. There was 12-15 boats the whole time I was there. My little flatbottom was out of place there that was for sure.:D Many were jigging and a few were threewaying raps. Half of the locks were open and the majority of us fished the current seam it created. It was a versus day for me, that is minnow vs. worm, and the worm won. It seemed that an orange jighead was the color for me to use. I boated a ton of small saug. and only kept two that measured 14-15. I wanted a little meal for the night. I only caught one rough fish, about an 8lb channel cat. Everyone was watching when the net came out. I never let anyone see it so I left them thinking.:D
