Riverangling.com exists to provide a forum for anglers to share fishing information about the Upper Mississippi River and the surrounding tributaries and lakes. We are based out of Winona and LaCrosse so the emphasis will be on the surrounding area at first.
The website is also designed to partner with Riverangling, a fishing show that will begin airing this summer on HBC TV 25 in Winona and St. Charles.

Hey River Angling Guys,
The site looks great and I am looking forward to this expanding.
I hope to see more people who will SHARE quality information. This will only make all of us better fisherman and increase the quality time on the water.

Thanks for the encouragement Haywood04. If you have any ideas for improving the site please let us know. We are still very early in the process of getting this thing rolling.

Hope this site can be used by a Iowa boy :D We just purchased our first boat this year. Hoping to get alot of fishing in on the Miss around Prairie and Lansing. We just started rigging the boat for trolling with Cabelas rod holders and trolling poles with linecounter reels and planer boards. Hope to get some tips on trolling for walleye. ;)

Another Iowa boy to another, be careful on thMississippi it is real low. But from what I have heard the walleyes are picking up and so is the bass. Stay dry.

Hey Hawkeye,
Welcome to the site!! Feel free to give us some fishing reports down by you. I usually only get down as far as lansing. About three weeks ago the water became really really low on pool 9 some areas where you would normally run, you couldnt even get back there. Pretty crazy!!! Maybe next time i go down there i will have to use my buddies boat :D :D :D

Hawkeye, thinking of heading to P9 the weekend of the 17th. Hopefully the walleye bite is improved by then.

I live just north of you about 30 miles in Tripoli ;)
