I was out on Pool 5a and it was slow. The water has been on the rise, but seems to have stabilized at about 62,000. Found a few on rip rap edges, throwing a tube. I do tend to struggle in high water. Any tips on fishing in high water? I know that cureent breaks are ok but what do you throw then?

With high water always brings tough fishing. I like to concentrate on secondary wingdams and rock piles. I have seen smallies during high water sitting behind wingdams close to shore. Pitchin tubes usually is the best bet, but texas riggin a brush hog will sometimes get em also.
Sand dropoffs can be very promising, but usually you will have to try a few sand drops before you find a concentrated amount of fish. :)
