Pool 7 Eye Bite

Went out fishing Pool 7 Wednesday morning with some luck, but still pretty slow. Ended up catching 5 walleyes and 1 Smallie with the biggest walleye around 18". With the water still high it makes fishing some wingdams a little tough. Lindy rigs with power pro line and then with a leader of 8lb mono worked good for me, never busted off on any fish. We were able to find two wingdams that produced a few fish, but the bite is not were it should be. We only fished with WillowCats, so maybe the bite could of been different with a leech or a nightcrawler, who knows.....
