Has anyone been up there yet this year? i am headding up january 9th for 5 days and was wondering if anyone knows the snow situation, ice thickness, drivability, and of course the bite. i do this trip every year and cant wait. every year we have at minimum 75 fish per peron a day. all saugers and walleyes. the reports i have heard is that it is a little slow this year. we will be slleping on the ice day and night. man, i need 5 days strait of fishing. work just dosnt cut it for me.

Sounds like a blast!! I had some friends go up there last week, they didnt do so hot this year, compared to last year. But I'm sure you will find the fish.

one of my buddies was up there after christmas and caught a 12lbs walleye. he is pretty stoked to head up again and so am i!!! i hope i bring back a good report.
