Good morning everyone.Made a venture to Redwing on Saturday.A buddy of mine joined me for the morning,Trever Nelson. We started at first light pitching hair jigs and ring worms. We caught 6 nice walleyes and 2 nice saugers. One walleye went 8lbs and another went 5lbs! :D We took picutures and released the big ones. The rest of the day we spent verticle jigging with paddle tails, ring worms, superdoo's.The saugers were still biting very well in the 24-28 foot range.Sunday morning was a different day.One walleye pitching and one keeper sauger verticle. We had a couple of short fish, but the fishing was definetly slower. We had to leave fairly early so I do not know how the rest of the day went.Good fishing!!!

We were throwing minnows on the hair jigs, but it did not seem to matter.Dragging ring worms seemed to produce also.

I havent been able to make it up there this year yet, but still have to boat put away so might have to bring it out a little earlier this year. I guess ya never know cause we still could get some cold weather, lots of winter left.
