I had the day off yesterday, and caught some really nice fish. The crappies were not huge, but they were decent 10 inchers. The bluegills on the other hand were dandy's. The fish I kept were between 8 and 9 inches. Slobasaures's? Well, They were the nicest I found this year.
Orange rockers still seem to be the ticket on the gills, while the crappies prefer little cecil.

The ice where Iv'e been fishing is 7 inches thick and it's good ice, Third lake had 3 to 5 inches the last I checked. Long Lake had a good 8 inches left. How much ice is left on Bartlets?

Bartletts was at 4-5 inches. But these cold evenings now I am sure its a little thicker. Have you been getting any fish Ryan?

Yes, I've been doing really well for the most part. Last weekend I took three other guys to my spot (where you might see one or two other people) and in five hours we all had limited out. 51 of those bluegills were 8 inches or bigger and we had 11 that were 9 inches. The area has been holding some 10 inch crappies as well.
