Hit pool 6 last night 8/1, did not find great numbers of fish but was able to pull out some nice smallies that went in the mid 2lb. range.
No one spot in particular, the fish were scattered but relating to current. Find it and you will find the fish close by. This means the front or backside of islands, wingdams, or anything else that will have some type of current change. The fish are looking for an easy meal so if they can sit there and let it come to them they will. Plastics have been working well but if you find them to be aggresive try a fluke or chug bug. The topwater can be great.

Yeah, it seems like the smallies are really scattered. You can always find the small ones, but the big ones are sometime far between. It should only keep getting better though. I heard that pool 7 sandflats have been really hot, but haven't had a chance to get down there. I would think it would be the same up here, but who knows.

Hey Rippin,
The water is pretty clean right now with the flow so low.

Hey Adloos,
Some sandflats have produced a few fish and this should get better as fall gets upon us. I have had a better idea of what a sand flat is and where to find them.
Many of us, including myself, stand on the fish on these sandflats while trying to fish many of the wingdams.
