This truck is a good old Toyota truck I have owned for 3 years. (my last Toyota truck went over 400,000 miles!) I have not had a single problem with the engine since I have owned it. I bought it with 100,000 miles on it and now it has 193,000. Never had any problems with it in the winter or summer. The 4 high and 4 low gears work perfectly. It has manual hubs. It has no problem going through the snow. I used it like a truck pulling boats and fish houses so it will do most what you need it to do. Always starts without any problem. I put a new clutch in it 1 year ago. I also put a new front and rear drive shaft on 1 year ago. I just replaced (4/18/06) all the belts (fan, air cond, alternator). I just had a new rear right side panel put on after a little run in with a light pole. It also has a brand new windshield. Other than that I have just done the usual maintenance like oil changes, spark plugs, and exhaust. It has a bed liner, sliding rear window, receiver hitch with 1 7/8, 2, and 2 1/4 inch balls, AM/FM radio.
The other stuff you want to know...There is also a spot of rust on the right real panel near the top of the box. I have sanded it down and treated the rust with rust stop. i have then painted it with factory paint. It has cruise control that works on and off. Some days it works great and some days it does not feel like working. It also has Air Conditioning. I have had ever part of the air conditioner serviced except the condenser and that would need to be fixed to use the air conditioner. I am pricing it as if the truck did not have these but I believe they are easy fixes. I never used the air conditioning because it helps increase gas mileage and that’s what I like most about the truck. In the summer it can get 26-28 miles on the highway. That goes down to 22-23 mpg in the winter. The tires have less that half of their life on them. The front air valance was replaced 4/19/06. It may sound like a lot but this truck really is in good shape! I just want you to know everything there is to know about the truck. I will post more pictures when I can, hopefully within a few days.
When I had the rear panel replaced 4/12/06, I had the truck appraised as is with everything described above at $4500 so that is what I am asking. It has been a great truck for me. The only reason I am selling it is because I bought a 14 foot pull-behind fish house this spring and I need 2 more cylinders to pull it long distances. I know this truck has a lot left in it. I love Toyotas because they keep on running, and they hold their value!
I live down by Winona MN. If interested, give me a call and I will answer any other questions I can about it.
