The sunnies are on the wingdams. Went out on 5a tonight and got some real nice sunfish. Using a ultralight rod and reel with 4 lb McCoy line is awesome.
My biggest was probably 3/4 lb. Small red worms are perfect for these fish.
Every so often a smallmouth will take the worm and the real fight is on. Makes the ultralight grunt alittle but sure is fun. I use a small bobber and cast it above the wingdam and let the current carry the bait over the dam, not every fish is good but you have to weed out some smaller ones.
