5a Smallmouths

:) Went out on 5a fishing bass and got some real nice fish on baby brushhogs
watermellon with gold flecks. I had 4 casts with 4 fish. They are new color this year and seem to be what the smallies wanted that day. Watermellon red was ok but these were better. I casted from the downside of wingdam over wingdam and retrieved it back using a carolina rig with a 20 inch leader and 1/4 oz weight. As it got towards the wingdam and even on top they SMACKED it. Had a great time. Got them at Daniels !!

I figured they would, you got to watch out for the local talents.
Also, thanks for the email, I have been in PL, lots of times before, but only in the spring. I think I am going to lock down.
