i guess i will start this because i am getting the itch so bad, any cold temp is a welcom blessing! I am talking about hard water season. i and i know andy have been working on the big ice houses, and i will be pulling out the portable thanksgiving weekend (i hope to put it to use then since i will be up north!)there are a few new gadgets this year that that are begging me to buy them! i think i will be heading up to the ice fishing show up in minneapolis on the first weekend of december to check out all the new stuff firsthand. i am hoping it wont be long now. i am sure most of you are still in duck and deer mode, but nomatter what season it is, i am already looking forward to the next.
pray for cold!

I wasn't the one who fell and hit my head, I was just one of the guys who fell through the ice and got wet, and fell on my butt once. I think it was Keith's friend who whacked his head. :D

Enough ice to start ice fishing = bad!

PS, I seem to remember there was too much ice that day, as what did we get, two hens, one of which we jumped like 4 times?? :p

Oh yeah.....my bad.

Direct quotes from my journal entry for that day......"2 cripple geese, 2 cripple greenheads and 2 hens that just wouldn't fly away"........."Ice was Gay"

Glad we got those two extra days this year......I'm buying a pair of hockey skates

If the weather continues as is, you will need water skis for those two extra days. :D

Ice was gay. Wonder how many cripples we could have found with dog?

i should have known it was too early to post about icefishing! it turned into a duck forum...no problem, no mater how i wish for it, it wont be here any sooner. but ya know, if i get my way and get cold weather, there will be more uneducated ducks for everyone to shoot!

I have seen a few people out near the barge loading area along that road to the deer park.
