hunted mostly by my self during the weekdays with average success. this weekend i went with a few buddys of mine and we had a great time. went with my girlfriend and her uncle saturday morning and we had our 12 mallards by 8:00!
yesterday went with a different buddy of mine and we set up for divers. got 4 bills 2 goldeneyes 2 butterballs 3 mallards some worthless sawbills (target practice) and what appears to be a hen oldsquaw. i have shot goldeneys in the past to but this is one of the nicer drakes i have gotten. there are ducks around you just have to do some scouting. u mn boys are going to miss out on the cold front that is defnitally going to produce some more birds. i have 4 late season spots that NOBODY hunts that the colder the weather gets the more ducks stack in there. BRING ON THE COLD!
