Lansing Area ?

Anybody been fishing P9 around Lansing lately. Just wonding how the bite is going. Might make it up there Labor Day weekend. :D

Hey, I am new to the site, but I was actually down there last week and pulled some nice bass throwing a sumo frog over the grass on the lower parts of pool 9. If you can also get in some of the fingers on the Wisconsin side of the river there are some good points you can catch fish on throwing Tubes. If you are going for walleyes I saw some guys pull 2 nice walleyes on wingdams more towards the bottom of the pool. I was actually fishing the inside of the wingdam for smallies, but didnt get any. We will probably start out looking for some walleyes and then target some bass. This will be my first time in that area. Any good boat landing suggestions around Harpers or Lansing?

In harpers try the top end of McDonald and where it come together with Jap. There is a sand bar there so be carful. We jig down stream and pull cranks up steam. GOOD LUCK P.S. Try the S curves.

Thanx for the info. Decided to wait going to P9 since duck season opened today. Instead we opted to head to Clear Lake, IA and try for some walleyes and yellows :D
