Isn't it amazing how many different swim jigs are on the market now. I have tried many different kinds all seem to produce fish, but some run better than others. I have found that All Terrain, Double D tackle and RC Tackles have seem to work good for me, what do you all like?

I like the Lethal WEapon and the RC, hate the Dave's tournament tackle ones.

Many of my friends LOVE the Brovarny baits.

I have found all swim jigs have their certain qualities that make them work.
Along with All Terrain and RC Tackle there is also Little Hustler which I think has the biggest hook and swims well too. With all the jigs I have attached the 5 inch Kalin grub or there is a new more flashy grub called Spike It. It is really flashy in all its colors and works good too. Tonight I fished 5a pool and tried a white swim jig with Spike It. I ended up with stripers hitting it when the blow up in the water. There seems to be alot (billions) of shad jumping all over and the stripers are going nuts on them. So I casted in the middle of the blow up and they hit the jig instantly. The smallies were small tonight and the big ones have lockjaw !!! or being bullheaded about biting. Anyway theres my stuff on swim jigs and tonights fishing. Maybe tommorrow !!@#$

Swim Jig......... Well lets see there is leathal weapon, DD Tackle, Little Hustler, RC tackle, dave's tournament, All Terrian tackle and meny more. i guess i am open to useing one. tere are so many and you talk to meny anglers and they say one is better then another. dloos made a great point they all have there certian qualitys. personally i like RC Tackles swim jig i feel as though it goes straight through the water. Reasently All Terrain Tackle came out with there new mold and a new look at there swim Jig. i think it will be very popular. its got a great feature of how it is made. its hard to explain it but i guess you'll just have to come in and see it. other then that, thats what i like and that is what works for me. but i am open to useing anyother if someone has or knows of some different ones. Good Luck!!!! :D

It's tough to say, becuase with anything there is always something different about each bait. I received a couple homemade ones from a guy on the BFL and I love em for open water smallies. It's not nearly as good in the grass as some of the others, but the smallmouth on a wingdam will destroy it. For grass I would suggest the All Terrain. I Modify the skirt myself, but I think it has a great head shape.

Your right Flippinbass, there are always something a little different in each one. What brand swimjig was the one you like for smallies. You will have to show it to me sometime. I would have to say all terrain has a good swimjig, but rc tackle and Double D tackle also make an awesome swimjig. I just got some samples of the new all terrain swim jig and they look awesome!!
