So how is the hunting going???
Since there has not been a lot of bragging going on, I'm guessing not so good.
I gave up hunting about 7 years ago, but still injoy hereing the stories.
So let me know how you are doing in the woods.
Someone must have a story by now, even if it is the one that got away.
Thanks to those of you that post::::

After scouting a few times and finally having some time to get out, the bow stand was finally hung Saturday. After spending the morning picking up leaves in the yard, a trip into the field was made a little after noon. There should be no activity at this time and it should be a quick in and out without getting busted……right
No sooner than the steps were screwed into the tree and the stand was pulled up and resting on my leg before being strapped, I could hear deer running right at me. With one arm holding a limb overhead and the other holding the stand which was resting on a leg in a peculiar position, four does came busting in and stopped right under the tree of which I am hanging in. Of course thoughts of my stand being busted before even getting to sit in it a night ran through my head
After what seemed like hours (a good 20 minutes) with the four baldy’s meandering around underneath me the arm above my head started going numb and my right calf, of which was supporting the majority of weight started to cramp. This is it, I’m going to loose it and game is going to be over
Mustering up everything I had in me to hold still and hang on the deer finally moved off into the field. It was then the body shifted to a new position and the stand was slowly lowered back to the ground. I had to get back to the ground and stretch out before it would be possible to continue on with the task of hanging the stand. Good news is…the stand is hung and I was never busted. Bad news…..my right arm is now 4 inches longer than the left and my right calf still goes into convulsions now and then.
I sure hope to be sending a meat missile out of this stand come Saturday

LOL thanks much for the story:::: :
That was a nice read:::
Of course you know that you are going to have to go buy new arrows before you can go hunting now::
What with that long arm you now have you are going to out draw your old ones.
And when that big buck comes through I am sure that your calf muscel is really going to start shaking for you. Be sure to adjust your sights for the extra hight of those new arrows too::
Thanks again for the story
